Train Transfer

by Tim Rickett

This is known as an image transfer. Basically you take an image and print it off on a laser jet printer, coat a surface (preferably wood) in matte medium, lay the picture face down in the medium, press evenly smoothing out the image starting in the center, wait for the medium to dry (about 30 minutes) then poor water on the back of the paper and the ink should be left on the surface except in mirrored format. (Personally I wait a full 12-24 hours for the medium to dry I believe the image shows up smoother and better if it is left on the medium longer.
